Yes - forgive me, but will I forgive others? I'm careful to not forget, see... it's the human condition. Fool me once.... fool me twice... Forgiveness and Peace. Yes. Heaven.

As for Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize? Usually that's reserved for someone with an obvious dedication to peace demonstrated by action - LOTS OF IT! He's a brand new president, relatively unknown until he stepped forward as a candidate. I'm skeptical as to his qualification, too. Seems the award was given in HOPE of him performing some nobel feat. Certainly in a few years, if he can get us out of the war without the collapse of nations creasted by the mess over in the far East, and if he can get Korea and Iran in line with his ideals of peace, hmmm... now we're talking. But what do I know? You're a good read and you got me to thinkin'. That's always welcomed. :)Jennanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9092625269540858404.post-86862438088481042612009-10-22T13:47:29.140-06:002009-10-22T13:47:29.140-06:00Very cool article and perspective. I wish that weren't the case...SCarrollnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9092625269540858404.post-71989538748945267912009-10-22T10:25:37.425-06:002009-10-22T10:25:37.425-06:00Melissa, this is beautifully free flowing and soul...Melissa, this is beautifully free flowing and soulful. I love the way you merged current events with past peace makers and then back to ourselves. You always inspire me to be more.

Sarah McAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9092625269540858404.post-46400229595082025332009-10-21T09:31:39.075-06:002009-10-21T09:31:39.075-06:00That was a great read, Melissa :) Well said. I hear people who are parents at my children's schools who criticize everything he does with such negative regard. It's truly sad. We cannot see peace when so many see hate.Jessica Gnoreply@blogger.com
